E-Bike Charging Time Calculator
Calculate how long your battery needs at the charging station or at home.
Typical: 400Wh, 500Wh, 625Wh or 750Wh

Estimated Charging Time
5 Hrs. 36 Min.
Note: The last 20% (up to 100%) often takes a bit longer because the battery management system (BMS) reduces the current towards the end to protect the cells.
What influences the e-bike charging time?
Charger (Amps)
A standard charger usually provides 2 amps. A fast charger offers 4A or even 6A, halving or thirding the charging time.
Ambient Temperature
Extremely cold or hot temperatures can slow down the charging process. Optimal are 15°C to 25°C.
Battery Age
With increasing age, the internal resistance of the cells increases, which can slightly reduce charging efficiency.
Tips for a longer lifespan
- 80/20 Rule: Ideally, keep the battery between 20% and 80% charge in everyday life.
- No Frost Charging: Never charge the battery in freezing temperatures right after a ride. Let it reach room temperature first.
- Original Accessories: Always use the charger approved by the manufacturer.
